People have said they love the inviting, welcoming feel, & I’m super proud to be part of the values-aligned crew at two/fifty seven. 💜

I’m adding to my selection all the time—here’s my current rainbow for you to choose from. For my headshot sessions (30 mins) we generally have time for 1 colour. Want more colours/time to play? Book a Brand Mini session (60 mins).

Arrive to the photo session and settle in. If you're getting your makeup done, arrive fresh faced if you can, no glam.
If you're not sure what to wear, you can wear one option and bring an alternate for us to decide between on the day.
First we'll get to know eachother and we'll try a couple of different angles. Then we'll look at the photos together so you can see what you like, dislike, and give feedback! Then once we figure out what's working, we'll try that pose again and continue the process until you're happy!
At the end you'll go through all the photos and choose your favourites for me to polish up and deliver. I'm here to guide you to create great photos but when it comes to choosing them, I strongly believe what YOU think of your own photo/self images matters more than what others think or my opinion. That's why I want you to choose your own photos. ✨
Within 2 weeks (if not sooner!) from our session date your stunning new portraits will be in your inbox ready to share with the world.
I deliver both High Res (printable) and small Web sizes (for digital use) and do not have restrictions for how / how long you use your photos. I'd just love social shout outs and photo credit where possible. I'll also use the photos (only the ones you like/chose) to promote my work (eg website, socials), as I love to showcase my clients, but if you'd rather I didn't, please just let me know. 💕

Think about what to wear and the style/vibe you want to portray in your photos. Pinterest is great for looking at examples and narrowing down on your vibe/what you like! Consider looking at old photos that you like of yourself and see if there's a pattern (eg a certain pose). Bring any of these ideas to our session. Don't worry if you don't really have many photos of yourself that you love, we will work on that! We can discuss things you're nervous about in photos and tackle them together.

I believe there are no concrete rules... or if there are rules, they're more like guidelines. 😉 Generally, I'd go with what you feel best in... when people wear things they love/feel great in, that shines through in the photos.
General tips (but again this may not work for everyone) is to avoid wearing all white, all black, and any large brand logos you might regret later.
It may seem counter intuitive but properly fitted clothing looks better in photos than large/baggy pieces. You don't need to wear anything tight... but things that fit you well/where we can see your shape are the most flattering.

Yes! I work with pro makeup artists like Amy McLennan from every.day clean beauty. Let me know that you’re interested in adding makeup when you book in for your pop-up and I’ll book Amy in to join us.
If you’re nervous or haven’t had makeup before, don’t worry, she can help you figure out what style will best suit your complexion and energy. Have a look at Pinterest or other references to see if you have any basic preferences on style or a feeling /result you want and bring those ideas to your session.

Same!! Almost every person I've ever photographed came in nervous (and I get nervous in front of the camera sometimes too!), but they all left surprised by how fun and easy photos can be. Being in front of a camera can feel overwhelming but the more you practice it, the less scary it becomes. And during the session it's my job to help smooth the jitters and work with you to make it an enjoyable experience. So don't worry, you're in good hands!

Yes, yes yes! This is the key part of my process.
I believe it's a huge problem in the photography industry that the person being photographed doesn't have power over their own image nor the ability to choose their own photos. I think this lack of agency is a key reason why many people dislike getting photographed... rather than choosing the angle/photo they like, they are presented with one they hate!
I want you to be in control every step of the way. I show you all the photos as we go and we talk openly about what you like and dislike. At the end of the session you get to see ALL the photos and choose your own... that way you know that the photos you get once I've done my polish/edit are the ones you like!

The session length dictates how many final photos we end up with, and so does the session price (as time to edit/process the photos is factored in). My headshot sessions (30 minutes) include 5 photos with professional photo edit (eg blemish removal, flyaway hairs etc); you can always purchase more photos if you love more, once you see them after the session.
The longer 'brand mini' sessions are a full 60 mins photo session where we can try other poses, outfits etc, and also include professional makeup. These come with 30 photos, and are a great option if you're looking for more personal branding photography beyond a fresh new headshot.

Photo editing includes uploading all the images that you chose from. our session together and applying basic lighting balance and colour grading to every images to make them pop/feel professional. Then I go through them again 1 by 1 and remove any distractions (like a pesky blemish, flyaway hair, or spot on your shirt). Then I crop the photos—I usually provide the wide master shot, and some zoomed in ones of head & shoulders for updating that LinkedIn profile photo! And then I export them all to a custom gallery link for delivery.
Files are provided in both High Res (large/master files, good for printing or if you need to crop them yourself), and Web sizes (smaller file already formatted for websites, social media).

No problem! I can happily do a private booking too, starting at $460 for a headshot session.
If you have a friend or business partner who is keen to combine forces, you can book in for the same day + with a discount.
The reason I do pop-ups days is it means I can split the costs for studio hire across multiple bookings which lowers the price of a session so everyone benefits! That’s why if you can get a couple people together we can create your own pop up day too. 😉
